I had the good fortune of meeting Adam two and a half years ago while on a fishing trip, at the time I was thirty years old and still renting. Adam told me about pre-construction in Las Vegas and Phoenix. He told me that real estate in Las Vegas had doubled in value and that Phoenix was the next big thing. Normally that would of gone in one ear and out the other but not this time. Adam told me he would put me on his A-list and to give his partner Ryan Harris a call. When I got home I told my friends and family about buying pre-construction homes in Arizona they thought I was nuts. I called Ryan anyway, something in my gut said Adam was the real deal. After several long calls with Ryan (thank-you for being so patient) I was ready. He told me about a pre-construction play in Chandler called Shadow Pointe. I needed $5,000 in earnest money to get in. It sounds funny to me now but at the time $5,000 was a lot of money. I cleaned out my savings account and borrowed the rest. Now I was in the game, by the way it was the best move of my life. I made $60,000 on that deal and was hooked. I jumped on another one in Scottsdale which I still own use as a vacation home, it’s up $90,000.  I’m proud to say that in the two and a half years that have passed since that fishing trip I now own 74 units. My net worth is over$2,000,000 and growing fast. I’m always looking for that next deal and the boys at Greenlight never let me down, thanks to the A-list I have 3 home sites in North Carolina, 4 condos in Branson, a home site w/boat slip in Tennessee, a 4 bedroom house just outside Boise, and a condo on a golf course in San Antonio. I expect that by next year my net worth will be closer to $4,000,000 with $1,000,000 coming from my investments with Greenlight, and all of it because I met Adam on a fishing trip two and a half years ago.
